Rhinestones for Nails

Flatback glass rhinestones for nail art — also sold as nail crystals or flatback crystals. These are non-hotfix stones, so they are set with gel or nail glue rather than heat, which is what you want on a nail.

Sizes for nail work. SS3 to SS10 is the useful range for most designs. SS3 (1.3–1.5 mm) is for micro detail, gradients and filling gaps; SS5 and SS8 suit fine art and French tips; SS10 works as an accent stone. SS12 and above will cover a full nail but start to sit tall, so allow for that in your apex.

At a couple of millimetres across, a flat opaque colour has very little to do — the stones that still look like something on a nail are the ones with movement in them.
